_{President Yoweri Museveni has met and held a meeting with a delegation of investors from a Danish Company called Burmeister and Wain Grandinavia Contractors (BWSC).}

_{The delegation that was led by the Chief Executive Officer of BWSC, Mr. Martine Manzi and the Company’s Manager in East Africa, Mr. Jesper Elling, called on the President on Tuesday at State House, Entebbe and briefed him on their interest to invest in the establishment of a hybrid power plant to produce electricity using thermal and solar sources in the country.}

_{While welcoming them to do business in Uganda, President Museveni advised the company not to sell the electricity that they will generate at more than 8 American Cents per unit. He assured them that the demand for power in Uganda is increasing adding that the government will avail them land for the establishment of the power plant.}

_{Mr. Martin Manzi, on his part, disclosed that their company will fully finance the project and sell electricity to Uganda’s national grid.}
